Back at the Barnyard Season 1 Episode 9

WandaVision — the first Marvel Cinematic Universe production to debut as a Disney+ series — took quite the creative risk. Paying homage to classic sitcoms like Bewitched and I Love Lucy, the show kicked off with episodes running in under 30 minutes. Yet, since straying from the sitcom world and veering further into the MCU-type creation, the episodes have gotten a bit longer — coming in at over 40 minutes. Yet, how long will the season finale be? Will the creators extend the finale beyond the typical episode to give fans a bit more magic?

Marvel leak suggests that the 'WandaVision' finale will clock in at 50 minutes

According to TheDirect.com, citing a moderator-verified post on a subreddit account dedicated to Marvel spoilers, episode 9 will be 50 minutes long (including the credits). Considering this is a Marvel show — and one expected to tie directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — viewers can expect a hype-building mid-credits scene…maybe even two.

At 50 minutes long, the season finale will be the longest episode yet, considering episode 8 currently hold the record at 47 minutes long. Though many have hypothesized that there will be a mysterious tenth episode, the posts say this claim is false and lacks substantial insider backing. Though such would be very exciting, it's not something viewers should hold out for.

TheDirect notes that the same source accurately predicted the run-times of the previous two episodes within one minute; thus, it's likely that this guess will also be correct. Considering, a major battle is on the horizon, an extended runtime seems appropriate.

What to expect in the season finale of 'WandaVision'

[possible spoilers for WandaVision , episode 9]

Aside from a 50-minute runtime, there are a few other season finale features bound to surface. One: it wouldn't be a Marvel production without a major battle sequence at the end.

It's likely that Wanda will come head-to-head with Agatha Harkness. Yet, some theories suggest that Agatha may still transition into a mentor-like role (as is the case in the comics). And, she may help Wanda fight off Hayward and his army. Such theories posit that Harkness has been acting out of fear up until this point, not villainy.

Also, there's White Vision in the picture now, and he's likely going to operate as Hayworth's personal Ultron (a weapon). In other words, Vision and Vision could battle it out in the upcoming season finale.

Finally, many believe that the "aerospace engineer" mentioned earlier in the show is none other than Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic). And, some believe Mr. Fantastic will make his debut in the upcoming episode. Other theorists suggest that Doctor Strange will sense the magic in Westview and come to Wanda's aid in the final battle.
